About the project
Speech therapy was introduced in Kosovo only some 10 years ago (by the Kolegji Heimerer (KH)). It is therefore only normal that there are many aspects of the field that remain to be built and developed, both on the teaching/training end and on the service provision side. This means that not only can training and schooling be improved and better aligned to the needs of the field, but also can new methods and technologies be introduced in the country that will make the field itself advance, thus opening new market opportunities and potentially creating employment.
This project wants to impact both these aspects: 1. improving training/schooling, and 2. expanding service quality and range. On top of that, the it aims at 3. firmly linking VTI with partner enterprises for guaranteeing optimal training while also better serving partner needs. Moreover, the project aims at 4. anchoring the concept of internship mentoring and the techniques needed for it in the consciousness of service providers and future professionals. Finally, the project wants to be a 5. catalyst for innovation in the field, particularly when it comes to digitalization.
