About the project
The primary purpose of our project is to create a robust, industry-oriented CT program, called ‘Mechatronic Technician for Autonomous Processes.’ This program seeks to equip trainees with a rich set of skills and knowledge that specifically cater to the burgeoning field of autonomous systems. We envision our trainees to be well-prepared to navigate and contribute to this rapidly evolving industry.
The grant we are seeking will be invested in various strategic areas. First, in developing and refining the curriculum. We will ensure that it is comprehensive, addresses key areas of the autonomous systems industry, and is continually updated to reflect current market trends and needs. The funds will also be used to secure cutting-edge facilities and equipment that are crucial for providing practical, hands-on training, which is an essential aspect of the CT program.
Another vital aspect of our project is the active involvement of our consortium partners. They bring their unique industry expertise to the table, making them invaluable contributors to this project. We will rely on them to provide practical, real-world training opportunities, contribute to the refinement of our curriculum, and ensure the training program’s continued relevance through regular industry feedback.
A crucial outcome of our project is its ability to bridge the gap between vocational education and training deliverables and labour market needs.
